Learn About Park City Brewery History at Wasatch Brew Pub
If you can believe it, back in the 80s no brewpubs existed in Park City, and when Wasatch Brewery opened in 1986, it made history. In fact, it wasn’t even legal for owner Greg Schirf to sell brews to his customers directly until 1988, when Schirf successfully proposed a bill that would make brewpubs legal in Utah. Since then, Wasatch Brewery has gone through a host of changes, including partnering with SLC-based Squatters Craft Beers to form the Utah Brewers Cooperative in 2002, and now is the longest-operating brewery in the Park City area.
